Explore the Dan River with Mayo Park Rangers
The Person County Recreation, Arts, and Parks Department will be sponsoring a canoe and kayak trip on the Dan River on Saturday, September 15, 2012. Fees for this trip are $13.00 per person for residents, or $20.00 per person for non-residents. Fees include transportation, canoe, guide, and the shuttle up and down the river.
Vans will depart from the Huck Sansbury Recreation Complex at 9:00am and will return at 4:00pm. The canoe tour will be guided by Mayo Park Rangers.
Participants may register online at our registration website, at the Mayo Park office, or by phone using a credit card. Registration for this event is limited to 12 participants, so be sure to register soon! Registration ends September 12.
