Person Area Transportation System (PATS) was established June 7, 1999.
PATS is funded by the County of Person, the North Carolina Department of Transportation, and the Federal Government.

All PATS drivers are certified and trained in Vehicle Safety, System Security Awareness, Driver Safety (Defensive and Distractive Driving Awareness), Bloodborne Pathogens, Illegal Drug Use (effects and consequences), Passenger Safety, Customer Driven Service, Problem Passengers Challenging Situations, Emergency Procedures, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act)

Our drivers are always helpful and courteous.
