Person County Citizen Self-Reporting Damage Form:

Please complete this form, if a structure that you own incurred damage during a storm. Our inspections staff is in charge of assessing the damage to structures after a storm. This information will be shared with Emergency Management. This form allows images to be uploaded, so please photograph the damage before beginning the form.

Shelters

The Department of Social Services (DSS) manages the shelters during an emergency response. When a shelter is opened, DSS will alert the public via the county Facebook page, Twitter, and website. For more information on sheltering, call the DSS shelter hotline at 336-322-8686.

Roads

  • To report a tree or other debris causing a safety hazard, please call 911.

  • To report down trees on State maintained roads call  NCDOT

  • To report down trees on City roads you can call City of Roxboro – 336.599.5658

Flooding

Call 911 to report flooding.
