Notice of Decisions

Notice: During the Council's regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday night (July 10), the following items were approved:

A rezoning request for 305 N Morgan Street changing the zoning of the parcel from R-6 Residential to O/I Office/Institutional.

A special use permit for a church at 2081 Old Durham Road, which will operate during alternative hours to the already existing daycare at this location.

A special use permit for the light manufacturing of mops, brooms, and similar products at 50 Providence Road.

A special use permit for the expansion of a church at 265 Old Durham Road, the location of New Brook United Methodist Church.

A text amendment to shorten the review process for special use permit requests by removing the Planning Board's review.

Additionally, the request for rezoning the property at 608 S Main Street from B-1 Commercial to R-6 Residential was tabled until the Council's August 14th meeting.
