The Roxboro Woman's Club founded the library in 1936 in the basement of the club house in which meetings were held. In May of 1941 interrested citizens rallied together in support of the library. Now the Person County Public Library is filled with books, videos, audios, computers and more. Come by and check it out!

Peek-A-Book Reading Kiosk
Purchased by The Friends of the Person County Public Library, the Peek-A-Book is an innovative reading kiosk with audio-visual presentations that highlight the content of books, reference materials, library skills, phonics and math lessons, and much more. The kiosk is equipped with an interactive touch screen with delightful puppet characters that guide users through the system’s features. |
