| PRODUCTION ASSISTANT FOR PERSON INDUSTRIES - Wednesday, October 28, 2009General Statement of Duties: Employee will train and supervise adults in a production area on specific job tasks, checking work for accuracy and assuring production goals are met, while providing support and assistance to the client/employee. The purpose of the work is to provide instruction and support in completing job tasks and learning skills that enable individuals to be as independent as possible, perhaps with external employment, while assuring that departmental production goals are met. Client-centered work includes providing repetitive instruction and providing oversight in completing tasks; teaching safety and good work habits; counseling and assisting program employees with behavioral and work problems; adapting and modifying jobs to suit specific needs of employees; and documenting client activities. Production-centered work includes identifying materials needed, monitoring work flow; ensuring quality of work; keeping accurate counts of work, and assisting with work tasks to ensure work flow. Work requires patience and flexibility. Employees assist clients with personal care and may intervene in safety situations and have risk of exposure to human body fluids and infectious diseases, thus the work is subject to the OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens. Work is performed under the direction of a production or program manager and is reviewed through observation, discussion and review of reports and program documentation.
Desirable Education and Experience: Graduation from high school or G.E.D, and one year of experience working with persons with disabilities, preferably including some experience in production; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license Ability to obtain and maintain certifications in CPI, CPR, First Aid and Medication Administration.

PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE SUPERVISOR I / HOME HEALTH & HOSPICE
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: This position is responsible for the direct administration, supervision, and coordination of Home Health and Hospice of Person County, a Medicare certified home health agency and a Medicare certified Hospice agency. Duties include planning, scheduling, organizing, and directing work operations and standards, budgeting, training, and reviewing work of both employees and contract staff. In addition, must participate in the on-call rotation.
DESIRABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Applicant must possess considerable knowledge of and skills in the application of nursing theory, practices, principles, and techniques employed in the field of public health. Ability to plan, to coordinate, supervise, and review accurately. Ability to teach, set standards, write policies and procedures. Excellent communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Must be present at the site in uniform no less than 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time.
2. Head official is responsible for conducting a pre-game conference briefly reviewing the duty of the officials, players, and coaches.
3. Inspect all game balls, and equipment.
4. Responsible for enforcing all game rules, to include the league rules and PCRAPD rules. The official has a final ruling on all calls.
5. Do not leave the site before or during a game unless absolute emergency exists. Contact Person County Parks and Recreation Department personnel before leaving site.
6. Responsible for making a decision reference to the game due to inclement weather.
7. It is the responsibility of the official to fill out their timesheets at the site.
8. Any incident before, during, or after the game that involves disciplinary action by the official must be documented on appropriate forms before leaving the site.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Must be 16 years of age.
2. Ability to deal tactfully with the public.
3. Knowledge of relevant rules of sports.
4. Ability to attend required clinics pertaining to each sport.
5. Must possess valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE: Reports directly to Athletic Supervisor or designee.
SALARY: $10.00-$24.00 per game
